Easter 2008

We went to Grandma & Grandpa Hilburns for Easter dinner. Grandma had an Easter Egg Hunt for all the kids, big and little. The little ones are talking about their toys they found in their baskets.
Camden found a Peep to add to his basket. He discovered that he likes Peeps. Why wouldn't he, it's sugar and marshmallows, his two favorite foods.

Kai found the money Aunt Brandy left for him in a chick. He was excited to add more money to his wallet.

Two baskets! Jackpot! Kai liked his chocolate bunny. He ate almost the whole thing in one sitting.

The Docherty family came over on Friday for pizza & an egg hunt for the boys & Hallica. Kai & Hallica are enjoying their new hats. Camden was too cool to put a basket on his head.

Next year Sophia will be able to join the other kids in the egg hunt.

School Easter Party

The boys go to daycare at Learning Tree in Silvis. They had an Easter Party last week. They had fun playing all the games in the different classrooms.

Camden is on the search for some Easter eggs. He loves his candy!

70 degree Snowman

On Sunday the temperature reached 70 degrees. The boys took advantage of the warm weather and snow combination and built a snowman. Shawn helped them make the snowman, he has a mustache in this picture. They had to wear snowsuits because of the snow. I was standing outside in a t-shirt and jeans and thought it was hot. Welcome to the Midwest.

Let's Bowl!

We met our friends bowling in Geneseo on Saturday. This was our first experience taking the boys to the bowling alley. Kai's first throw down the alley took about five minutes to finally reach the end. All that time waiting & he didn't even knock one down. He improved as the game went on. The boys enjoyed the Happy Joes pizza sticks and game room as much as they enjoyed the bowling.
