Eustatia Island, BVI July 2011

It was a girls vacation of a lifetime. Everyone is in this photo except my mom, sorry mom. We went to Eustatia Island in the British Virgin Islands. Unfortunately these pictures do not capture the true beauty of the BVI. We had an amazing time during our stay on the island.
Amy Adams, Sheila, Me, Beth, Amy, Chris, Ann & Ann C. (My mom is behind the camera)

Casa de Playa aka The Beach House. Ann, Amy, Sheila and I stayed here. We had great ocean views from the house. We also didn't have to stumble very far at night since the parties usually took place on the beach.

Here is a view from the porch. It was a tough week, but someone had to do it...

A view of the beach from front porch. The little area straight ahead is an outside eating area. That is where we had dinner one evening compliments of chef Adam.

Amy A. stops for a quick pose during our visit to The Bitter End.

Again, life's tough.

We are hanging out on the beach watching kite sailors.

Great view from "Look out Peak".

Another amazing view from Look Out Peak. Look Out Peak is at the very top of the island. We tried to spy on Nick Lachey's wedding on the next island over, Necker Island, but we couldn't see very well. Next time I'll pack the binoculars.

Yikes!

Can you get a look at this?! It's a little piece of heaven for sure. Banana daiquiri, oh how I miss you.

Chris, Me and my mom at Fat Virgin. No, I did not make up that name. Adam and Natasha sailed us over on the Hobie Cats for lunch.

BVI

Villa Far Niente is the main house on Eustatia Island. This is where the pool is located.

You can see the infinity pool from this fabulous view.

The second night on Eustatia Island the island manager Adam cooked dinner on the beach.

This is the remainder of our night of drinking. It was a fun night of talking, laughing, walking the beach and apparently a lot of drinking.
The alcohol selection was pretty extensive. We didn't have a difficult time searching for what we needed.

Chris and Sheila at The Baths, Virgin Gorda.

The famous Amy Adams hat rescue!

Amy Adams, Tina & Beth at The Baths.

Beth and I kayaked around the island two different days. The second time we had a friendly race with Sheila and Chris. This time around I knew exactly which kayak to use. There was a little bumping through the journey, but we made it. We even took drinks with us the second time around. As soon as we pulled ahead we stopped and had a refreshment. Beth and I came out victorious.

Cow Wreck BVI

Adam drove us to Anegada Island, which was about a forty-five minute boat ride. Once we arrived we took a truck taxi to Cow Wreck beach.

Fresh lobster... oh it was soooo good.

The Baths

While in the BVI we visited The Baths which is at the tip of Virgin Gorda. Once we arrived we had to jump from the boat and swim a little ways to shore. It would have been easier if I didn't have a scuba diving bag hanging from my arm.

Taking a quick pose before we are off to our next adventure. The rock formations are unbelieveable. (Sheila, Myself & Beth)

BVI Take One

Here are some random pictures from our vacation. The first picture is from our day at the Baths.

Wow, was that a fun night. We had dinner on the beach, drinks and more drinks, I think we may have walked on the beach... hmmm... Not totally sure. But it was a fun night for sure!My new drink VeeV with cranberry juice and a splash of club soda. Or maybe just VeeV on the rocks. I don't recommend more than two of these. But since we didn't have far to go, we splurged.

Summer Part 1

Disney World here we come! We left for Florida on the last day of school to try and beat the heat. We had great weather & a lot of FUN.

We all liked Animal Kingdom the best. Kai loved the Yeti ride and we all enjoyed the safari ride.

Chef Mickeys... We had dinner here and were able to meet a lot of characters. Camden had drawn a picture of Mickey & had all the characters sign the back. The boys were super excited about this adventure.
