Camden had a hockey tournament in the Dells a few weeks ago. Here are a couple photos from the hockey weekend.


Camden is sporting his medal he got at the end of the tournament. The kids did a great job and played some tough teams.

Yep, it was that cold! Plus a long night swimming, made it a tiring day at the rink.

Happy Birthday

We had the boys' birthday party at Happy Joes in Coal Valley again this year. We spent the first part of the party at the mini-golf course.

Summer Fun

BonJovi concert in Chicago was fabulous! Best concert ever.

The boys played tball this summer for Rockridge. Camden loved every moment, Kai... not so much!

We celebrated Jenny and Jamie's 10 year anniversary in Jamaica, July of this summer.

Time for the zip line through the Jamaican jungle/mountains, during a thunderstorm. Fun times.

Ella's Birthday

Ella had a Western themed birthday party. Ella and Kai are tossing snakes into the boots in this picture.

Grandpa found his best Western Duds for the party. That shirt has been around for years!

To work or not to work...

The boys take a moment to relax under Kai's canopy he constructed while the rest of us were working.

Camden helped Shawn work for hours in the front yard. Shawn let him help control the bucket while digging out the ditch. He was a great help.

As we worked in the front yard, Kai took some clothes pins and arranged the sheet to make himself a nice tent. He then moved all the chairs and decided to "rest".

Kai really wasn't interested in any sort of manual labor. He always had an excuse why he shouldn't work. He'll make a great supervisor some day.
